  • Pre-made Yukata
    • Yukata is cotton or cotton mix with hemp, you can wash at your machine. Use gentle mode with net and cold water. After washing hung dry, then please iron with using thin towel between iron and Yukata. We don’t like wrinkle and don’t want to show body line.
  • hand sawing Yukata or using natural dye color (you can ask Sakaeya your is what)

  • Silk Kimono
    • Ask a Kimono shop inc us in Japan so they will take care of it. Washing price is not so cheap (depend on how dirty, price may change) therefor we use under kimono and we recommend polyester under kimono which is washable at your home. And personally I don’t wash Kimono often only once year so during dressing, I am very careful or mindful not get to dirty. When you eat, use napkin from neck.
  • Polyester or human made silk like “Silook”.
    • You can wash it at your machine. Use gentle mode with net and cold water and wash it by itself. And Hung to be dried.
  • antique silk Kimono
    • We don’t recommend wash even at Kimono shop in Japan. Since the sawing thread may be melt after washing and disassemble or change color (they use special natural color which we don’t use nowadays) so it is on your risk if you like to wash. When you wear, using under Kimono like traditional way and not to get dirty.
