Since Japan became a boom destination, many traveler just visit without studying about Japan. This is pity, I feel. Since I have started to help our family Kimono shop in Saitama (about 1 hour from Tokyo), almost all of my guests had so deep knowledge of Japanese culture and they were eager to know more Kimono so they come to our shop all the way from to meet me who still can speak OK English. I often found they knew already so many thing of Japan and Kimono too. At least they know Kimono needs many items to wear properly not only Kimono and obi. Therefor, they can quickly learn Kimono from us and their understanding is deeper I feel. A few of them did not know Kimono but their knowledge of Japan help to understand Kimono more organically. For example, one guy was into Japanese old movies which helped him what kind of Kimono he should buy.

Now Corona prohibit us to travel and we may have more time to study or you can enjoy image travel at home. This blog may help you find first interest of Japan before your coming. I choice human who have relation with your countries.

To know someone’s history is very fun even more when it is related with own countries. What’ more, history connect now and future so time travel at your head maybe also possible. And afterwords, you may like to know more Japan. Read books, find your heroes or try Japan culture at your home (not only sushi we eat!)

My limited knowledge and lack of intelligence allow me to find now these people from each countries. If you find someone you know, please let me know. Also I am sorry some countries still I can not find. Because of short relation with Japan or again my lack of intelligence, so we can make new history or you may become important person for Japan in future!
